Winichahanat Veterinary Care is Dover's only downtown Veterinary clinic. We are looking for team members who would like to work in our beautiful state of the art facility that has a comfortable feel!!

Winichahanat Veterinary Care is a privately owned, 3 Doctor, full-service hospital with a unique client care model. We offer an array of services such as: routine and urgent care appointments, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, endoscopy, and ultrasound in hospital. We are looking for a highly skilled team member who is dedicated to service, has a passion for medicine, and is driven to succeed. Previous clinical experience as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse is required and we will train specific skills needed in our clinic. Proficient working knowledge of vaccines, well-care, restraint, anesthesia, venipuncture, laboratory and common medications and therapies in Veterinary practice is required as is excellent client service skills and attention to detail. Rotating, half day Saturday schedule. Come and join us in caring for our wonderful clients and patients!

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time

Salary: $19-$25/hour. Starting wages are based on experience, skills, and credentials.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the veterinarian in providing medical care to animals.
  • Perform laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Maintain patient records and provide client education.
  • Monitor animal behavior and vital signs.
  • Provide nursing care to sick or injured animals.
  • Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
