CVT or Experienced Veterinary Assistant

Winter Harbor Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, busy small animal practice located in the beautiful Lakes Region town of Wolfeboro.  We are looking for a certified veterinary technician or an animal assistant with experience to join our staff.  You must be able to assist our veterinarians with exams, competently handle/ restrain animals (primarily dogs and cats), perform basic lab tests, keep accurate medical records and multitask.  Experience assisting with anesthetic procedures and dentals would be helpful, although we are willing to train the right candidate.  As a small hospital, all technicians deal with our clients, both on the phone and at reception.

There are no night or weekend shifts and pay is commensurate with experience.  Full time benefits include health, dental, retirement (401k with match), and paid holidays as well as pet discounts.  Paid time off is accrued over time.
