Veterinary Technician

Privately owned practice Seeking a veterinary technician with at least 2 years of experience in surgery and general practice for our privately owned practice.

Join our excellent team of technicians and assistants in the beautiful town of Richmond. We are a thriving practice offering opportunities to work with multiple doctors with various backgrounds and interests, including acupuncture, dentistry, pathology and opthalmology. Job responsibilities include client education, animal handling, venipuncture, lab work, and radiographs. Surgery shifts (2-4 per month to start) include surgical monitoring, administering drugs, assisting with dental procedures and dental radiographs.

One great thing about working here; is along with working with cats and dogs; you will also have the opportunity to work with wildlife, which we do pro bono. We have had a variety of birds, including owls, hawks and eagles, as well as foxes, raccoons, opossums and more.
